BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, I-195 OVER ROUTE 140

Phased reconstruction of bridge carrying I-195 (divided highway) over Route 140. Project work included bridge demolition, highway construction, driven foundation piles, cast in place concrete substructure, and cast in place concrete deck. Heavy lift work included installation of the 710,000 lbs of structural steel bridge beams which were set with Aetna Bridge crews. Project also required extensive traffic control including setting of 20,000 LF of temporary median barrier along Interstate Rt I-195 (divided highway).
